Having a cup of tea at the end of the day helps me chill out, relax, and unwind.
I'm not alone, but I'm not in the majority for those in their 20's to 50's.
More and more of my friends and clients tell me that they have at least one or two glasses of wine every night after work.
It helps them chill out, relax, and unwind.
That's fine, but don't come complaining to me that your weight and body isn't changing.
Though it might not seem like a big deal, that glass (or two or three) of wine adds up.
Not to mention it's only the weekday and you are going to have more than your fare share on the weekend.
Nightly drinking sneaks in calories (150 cals per 8 ounces) and it messes with your sleep quality which helps regulate everything in your body.
If your sleep is messed up, so are your hormones - which can lead to body fat and weight issues.
I know when you pop a cork you are magically transported to a sexy European country, but let's be honest you are just chillin' in your sorority sweats in your studio apartment...so ease of the grapes.
Enjoy the occasional glass during the week, but trust me, cutting out the nightly glass will improve everything.
Soon you'll be sexier than that European country you're trying to whisk yourself away to.
